Your Impact
The QHSE Executive role is based in Jordan, specifically at our factory premises, and reports to the QHSE Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards by implementing and monitoring QHSE systems, conducting inspections, and managing incidents. The role is essential in maintaining high standards of product quality, workplace safety, and environmental stewardship.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the implementation of QHSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to quality, health, safety, and the environment.
- Prepare and present reports on QHSE performance, including incidents, near misses, and nonconformities.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes.
- Support the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate QHSE training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to QHSE practices.
- Maintain records of training sessions and ensure that all employees receive necessary training.
- Maintain and update QHSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and records of compliance activities.
- Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification processes.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating quality control processes.
- Support efforts to achieve and maintain product quality standards.
- Assist in managing environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives.
- Support compliance with environmental regulations and promote environmental best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QHSE systems and practices.
- Identify opportunities for improving QHSE performance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate QHSE considerations into daily operations.
- Communicate QHSE-related information effectively within the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
- Ensure that emergency equipment and resources are available and maintained.
- Support interactions with customers and stakeholders regarding QHSE concerns and requirements.
- Assist in addressing customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction related to QHSE issues.
- Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations.
- Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a QHSE role or similar capacity, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong competencies in Quality, Documentation and Reporting, and Attention to Detail.
- Flexibility with adhering to different shifts.
- Proven experience in quality control processes and standards.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards specific to medical devices, pharmaceuticals or any related fields.
- Ability to implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure product and process excellence.
